It's only been... a decade?

Well, this isn't something I expected to be doing. I've been hanging around the fandom on the periphery for a while. I've never really gone away but time just hasn't been available. Since I last posted a chapter here, I worked five years in a maximum security prison, got married, had a six-year-old daughter and bought a house. I'm a manager in a much less dangerous field now and I'm doing alright.

I also still enjoy ponies.

This story has been floating around in the back of my head for /years/ and I finally put it down in writing. The premise lends itself to more chapters and I have a few ideas. I don't know how quickly I'll be putting things out or what they'll be yet, but actually writing again has got something stoked in me. I've missed the creative outlet. I didn't expect it to end up being 16k words, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

Anywho, your favorite insectoid abomination is back. Perhaps you'll see more of me.
