Tell Your Tale: A Swing and a Misty

    My inner shipper is squealing.

If you've wanted Alphabittle, Haven, and their respective kids to become a new family unit, this episode is for you.

Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

I have an excuse for not being able to aim straight.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

On Sprout Cloverleaf · 10:34pm Oct 4th, 2021

Even as I write this, I know that there is a 90% chance of this turning into a late-game chapter for Forgotten, but I digress.

Sprout Cloverleaf.

Our deputy-turned-sheriff-turned-emperor-turned-stallion-in-chief was a pretty good villain for A New Generation. You don't get much better duos than Ken Jeong and off-the-rails dictators.

I think it was some fantastic misdirection on the film's part to make us think that Phyllis was going to be our profit-driven villain, before subtly shifting gears to Sprout and his aspirations.

Via SigmaSilver7 on EquestriaDaily:

I think the cracks in Sprout's character goes deeper than being the raised in a racist society. In the scene when they were children, Sprout declared it was his dream to be Sheriff. Fast forward a decade and we see that he is a mere deputy. His friend is the one who is living Sprout's dream. Hitch is the Sheriff. Hitch is respected and admired. Hitch catches the eye of all the mares. Hitch has HIS OWN CALENDAR!

So when the chance came to reclaim his dream, he grabbed it with both hooves.

And that's why I'm hoping the fanbase doesn't have a repeat of Starlight if and when Sprout comes around. He, like all of Maretime Bay, was a product of his surroundings and perhaps a bit of an inferiority complex, and he along with everyone else has to make adjustments and changes as Equestria begins reunification.

I agree. I see Sprout as a kind of this-generation's Diamond Tiara. He has the chance to be redeemed, it's just up to him if he will come to terms with why he did what he did and make things better

He was more of a child desperate for adoration and mom's love than he was a dictator fueled by pure seething hatred. I can't bring myself to actually dislike him all that much, unlike certain... other characters who I won't discuss. Not Starlight, I still like her.

Neat write-up. It'll definitely be interesting to see how the impending show handles his character going forward, that's for sure.

…Granted, it'll be interesting to see how the show handles a lot of the things the movie set up, but that's one thing in particular to keep a close eye on.

I think we're getting a 40-minute special in the spring, before the episodic series in the fall.

That's news to me. Just curious, where'd you hear that?

He's an interesting character and I like him. Hope to see more of the guy

Eh. I haven't seen the movie but based on what I have heard and just read here? Yeah I would prefer starlight over this any time.
