A Little About Myself

Hello to everyone and anyone that may read this. I just want to say thank you for taking the time to do so and to give you a little idea of what I am doing.

I have always enjoyed writing and playing with ideas and themes; heck I even have a fanfiction account of the same name. But alas after going to university and really not having the best of time with it; my writing was put to the side lines. Looking back on it I may have been suffering a bit of depression from it, but I cannot say for certain. I may still be, but hopefully not.

Regardless, thanks to the wonderful year that was 2020, and even 2021 the way things are going, I find myself with a lot of free time on my hands. Currently I am looking after my dad who is most severely at risk of what is flying around right now; but when I am not shielding him, I have been trying to get back into writing and perhaps to even see where this could take me.

Thanks to Netflix's I discovered "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and it wormed its way into my heart; and following the trail of breadcrumbs lead me here. Both the show itself as well as all the creative ideas on this site inspired me to write again and the biggest result so far is "My Most Faithful Mortifer" with rough chapters or ideas done for another two stories at least.

I have only watched the first 4 seasons of the show so far, and am aiming to expand that slowly; to savor it like a fine wine, rather than chugging it down in a binge like when I first found it. So forgive me for things that may have been addressed or missing characters that would fit situations better. Oh, and I have not watched anything else of the franchise yet either; only researched them from MLP fandom wiki and a few Youtube clips.

So yeah, that's me currently. Reviews and comments are always welcome; especially tips and tricks to help me improve and become a better writer. Any spelling/grammatical errors nicely pointed out would also be a big help, as I do want to get better and make my stories more enjoyable to read.

If things go well I may start writing Authors Comment Blogs about my chapters; the Writing Guide on this site made such a suggestion and I quite like the idea; rather than sticking them at the Start/End of stories. But I am certainly not set in stone on the idea.
