So for the next chapter, I'm thinking of jumping ahead to season two. The reason being I don't think the last two episodes provide Comet with that much to do. Party of One is a Pinkie Centric episode with her friends working in tandem to keep Pinkie distracted. I originally thought the idea of Comet having to hide the secret entrance to his ship would be a good subplot, but I didn't think that was enough to warrant writing what would otherwise just be Party of One. It doesn't change the episode enough to warrant writing. As for The Best Night Ever. Comet going to Canterlot is just unfeasible. One he's supposed to be in bed. Two, I'm pretty sure they don't invite colts and fillies to the Grand Galloping Gala. Three even if they did, Comet has a very big reason not to go. And that is Princess Celestia. The last thing he needs is for his powers to go into overdrive again in the Capitol of Equestria, on a night where the most prominent ponies in Canterlot are all gathered. So instead I'm just going to jump ahead to Discord or Drocsid as the chapter is called. Hopefully, it'll be an insanely good time.

Yeah. Makes sense. Of course, you've forgotten about "Cutie Mark Chronicles" and THAT one could involve Comet helping Spike in the library as usual and, curious as to how Spike and Twilight first met, could ask both Twilight and Spike about this and figure out that Spike's hatching (and the two's first meeting) coincided with how Twilight got her Cutie Mark. Comet also gets curious about the loud burst and flash of bright colors that led to Twilight's surge at her entrance exam. From there, Comet encounters the Cutie Mark Crusaders (after they already talked to Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity) WHILE they are talking to Pinkie Pie (his super-hearing and sped-up thought processes picking up almost all of what Pinkie said). Comparing notes, Comet figures out that Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie also got their Cutie Marks after inspiration from the loud burst and bright color surge and deduces they were all influenced by the same event (even if he didn't know EXACTLY what the event was). It wasn't until everybody talked to Rainbow Dash that Comet figures out that it was Rainbow's first Sonic Rainboom that led to the Mane 6 all getting their Cutie Marks (and, even then, the rest of the Mane Six were only two seconds slower in figuring it out).
