Really Internet?! You had to do that? · 3:59am May 3rd, 2021
Okay. So, I'm a little steamed right now. I caught wind of something, and thought for a moment the worst had happened. So, Facebook and other platforms suddenly started spreading news across the internet that Tara Strong passed away. For moment I was thinking "NOT ANOTHER ONE!!!!" And of all people, the voice of Twilight was who they were talking about.
Thankfully, I looked up some further information and breathed a sigh of relief to find out that this actress hasn't kicked the bucket yet. Phew. But that is just downright cruel to be pulling that kind of joke on the net. Like, if it were any other time where we weren't losing young actors and actresses, I would have been like "Okay, harmless prank, cause who's gonna take the jokers seriously with that news", you know, cause most of the time, the death announcement would say that they died in the most odd way one could imagine and automatically people would think "For real? That's what led to their death? I don't believe it. It's gotta be a hoax."
But this wasn't one of those times. We have been losing a lot of good actors lately, and even a Prince of England. To have a fake death announced is just down right insulting for me right now.
I'm sorry I had to rant, but this was just one time a death hoax pushed my buttons and got me steamed up. Any other time, I would have taken that kind of trolling.
I understand others may have a different opinion about this hoax death prank, and you're entitled to that opinion, but I had to speak my mind about what I thought about it. Yes, I know it was last month, but I had to bring it up, cause some people I knew, brought it up again, so it's still going around.
Hope you have a great May. And on Tuesday, May the 4th be with you as we see the Bad Batch take on some awesome adventures.
Another reason to stay away from Facebook and Twitter.
It's fine man Terra Strong is a great actress and even I got a little heated for a moment till I read the whole thing
