Yes! I'm still here (sorta)! · 5:31am Oct 30th, 2020
Wow! Has it been over four years since my last post?
Many things have happened on my end since then. Yes, I have moved on from MLP but I'm not one to forget where I came from. I learned a lot writing stories and posting them here for people to enjoy and I'm surprised when I occasionally check back to see I still get views and likes. Much appreciated and you have my thanks! I can't guarantee if I'll ever do another MLP-related story but you never know. If you want to leave a comment regarding any of my prior stories, then I will respond when I can. It has been such a long time since I wrote all the stories here so I've forgotten how good (or bad) they are!
I am still active on DA where I am continuing to write for my other projects and a few collaborations as well!
Oh man it's been a while, the story that brought me was Return to Flight and both it's sequels, I really enjoyed all three and was sad to see that you had been MIA for so long.
Thanks for the flashback from like 6 years ago haha. I may go back and re-read all three now.
Thanks for giving us those stories. If you ever decide to make more I'm sure you will make a great story, you most likely have improved even more since then.
I've come and gone from a few fandoms, this one seems to have me locked but who knows.

Some improvement, yes, but there is always room for more. Writing was never something I particularly studied for so my learning has always been through experience. Return to Flight put me through the ringer, especially when I ended up re-writing the first story!
I think I just ran out of ideas for MLP stories that hadn't been done already and I wanted to focus on my original stories. If I was given enough pieces to assemble an MLP story that's short and simple, I might be able to do it.

I've been reading so many stories on here that I thought about doing my own. The "lore" has been expanded quite a bit on all that time via the end of the show plus the comics. There are still tons of unexplored avenues even on genres that are heavily populated.
I think the best way to write stories in the fandom at it's current state would be to fill the niche. There are so many stories out there that were awesome stories that tried but ended up being unfinished or abandoned.
If you could fufill the niche while avoiding all the common issues that come with fanfic stories, you are basically garunteed to be in very good shape.
Original Characters for example are a huge thing in this fandom. But a lot of fanfics show them interacting with the main cast in a inorganic way. Friendships and relationships are not something that just happens suddenly.
I think that you could make something really good if you decided to do so :D
