Today I gazed upon a particularly gorgeous sunset, and in the few moments it stole my attention from the droll of daily life I came to a conclusion. Everything is beautiful. Calling someone beautiful isn't very informative seeing as how every single thing given the right time and context is beyond gorgeous. But I came to another conclusion, someone calling you beautiful still means a lot, it means that in the current moment this person is gazing at you with fond eyes, they see in you the things that represent their wants, their hopes, their dreams. Never discount what these people have to say, they cared enough to remind you, that you, like everything, are beautiful. But there is something greater than beautiful, when something is so unequivocally and indescribably serene and attractive it earns a far greater and very different response. It renders you speechless, the term for this is a common one, the thing you saw was breathtaking. Many people in your life will call you beautiful, and rightly so. But always remember to look for the person who says nothing, the person so struck and at awe by you that they can not fathom a string of words in any structure that would hold a candle to the feelings you have evoked in them. I myself looked upon many things, heard many songs, gazed upon countless works of art, and lost myself in pools of stars, often I lost my words. But none of them have rendered me as silent, for as long, as your smile does anytime I look upon it.
