Maybe, but than again the same could possibly be say about the ponies view towards the changelings as well. Especially, after the Canterlot Wedding incident.

Yes. quite right. Furthermore, most individuals who are racist, it's done out of fear, ignorance, misunderstanding, and etc. Which gives way to anger and hatred of the unknown.
In some cases it's a long ancient grudge between two races, and any wrong doing, the one side committed against the other.
And in other cases its mostly cultural differences between the two races.
