Sunset Across the Galaxy Second Chapter is up! and more. · 6:56am Jun 3rd, 2019

So first off, again thank you all so much for the support you've shown for this story! I am still amazed how much people are enjoying it and I promise to work my hardest to have the story live up to your expectations.

So a couple of things, Chapter 3 will probably be released sometime within the middle of the week and like I said at the end of my authors note, it will Follow Darth Vader as he goes to check out a disturbance on a colony world in the outer rim.

So on another note, To all you people talking about the philosophy of the Jedi, Sith and weather or not the Dark Side or Light Side are real or fake. One I enjoy the discussion, keep it up. But a couple of things for you to understand about me and the direction the Force takes in this story.

The Force to me is only "the Force" the Light Side was never mentioned at all in Canon at least until Disney took over and I'm still pretending they didn't. In the old canon including most of the EU, the Dark Side was something unnatural to the Force, where the Force has a natural state of being, a will of its own and a balance to it. People who used the Dark Side broke that balance, It's why in the Darth Plagueis Novel, Plagueis and Palpatine's experimentation with bringing people back to life ended up causing the Force to create the Chosen One in Anakin Skywalker to bring Balance back to what the Sith had unbalanced.

A good example of this is Plagueis explaining what Sith Lightning is to Palpatine

"A Jedi sufficiently strong in the Force can be trained to produce a facsimile, but not true Sith lightning, which, unabated, has the power not only to incapacitate or kill, but to physically transform the victim. Force lightning requires strength of a sort only a Sith can command because we accept consequence and reject compassion. To do so requires a thirst for power that is not easily satisfied. The Force tries to resist the callings of ravenous spirits; therefore it must be broken and made a beast of burden. It must be made to answer one's will. But the Force cannot be treated deferentially. In order to summon and use lightning properly, you will someday have to be on the receiving end of its power, as a means of taking the energy inside yourself."

I highly suggest you all watch these two videos explaining a lot of things about Jedi and Sith Philosophy, from the point of view of someone (that someone being Kreia who dislikes both orders) In them things like the Jedi, Sith, the Force, and the Gray Jedi are explained and the flaws in each are pointed out.
