Once more into the breach · 2:52pm Aug 28th, 2018
So, I've never really stopped tinkering with my stories--little edits and clean-ups, a minor retcon here and there--since posting my first chapter three years ago, and I've always nursed the idea of finally getting the trilogy typeset and printed, but had largely let that go (or so I thought) in favor of actually working on my damn novel....
Until Aquaman and his damn BronyCon 2019 bookstore idea.
Now I'm test-driving titles for the trilogy as a whole ("Elegy?" "Epitaph?"), and dusting-off that copy of Scribus I installed some 6 months ago.
Why would I do this to myself?
(At least I have a good, new poem to put at the very beginning )
"Be humble.
Only fools take pride in their station here, trapped in
a cage of dust, moisture, heat and air.
No need to complain of calamities,
this illusion of a life lasts but a moment."
