...is being released today, at least in early access form. It's been ages since I've played any games, but I've devoted a bit of my free time to messing around with the beta over the past week and learned a few things:
1) My reflexes ain't what they used to be. I distinctly remember stomping all my friends in GGXX:R 15 years ago... man, what the hell happened?
2) Even given the above, the game is really, really fun.
The developers have done a great job, and it's awesome to finally see my girl Arizona in action. I'd suggest anyone who's a fan of anime fighters to give it a look. Maybe I'll even see you guys down in the Salt Mines (which are conveniently next to the Word Mines, believe it or not).

I'm really surprised that they didn't use RC88 and WhiteTailMusic's original music for this. I guess that if they didn't have the actual Mane 6 then it wouldn't make sense, but then maybe they could've had the backgrounds and the music with them or something?

Pretty sure those two guys are the composers for this game's OST, which is amazing and quite a technical feat as well considering the music dynamically changes during the match based on the combatants and who has the advantage. It's great stuff - RC88 has uploaded some of his songs to youtube today.

Yeah, I know, but Brony made music is one of the biggest reasons I'm even here on this website. I guess I just wanted it for nostalgia purposes.

I know, I totally forgot about it for a few years! It's still unfinished in places but from what little time I've had to play, the game is a blast. They got the core mechanics down which is absolutely what was needed.
