So, I'm not Dead · 5:30pm Jan 30th, 2018
Hey everyone!
So, It's been 4 months since I first published Chapter 1 of Permafrost, and for those of you interested enough in the story to watch me, I figure you all deserve a bit of an explanation
As you can see, one of my main editors is Seraphem, and he is an incredibly busy pony. In addition to writing his own works (which I do the occasional pass on when he wants) He's also editor on a couple other fics. Currently, Chapter 2 of Permafrost is very close to being edited enough that I'll be doing a final pass, and isolating it for it's final reading before publishing.
Now, I'm not spending this time doing nothing. Quite the contrary in fact, the current working doc for Permafrost is nearing 70K words, and will be growing for quite some time. I'm also working towards other pursuits in regards to being an author, and have been typing out a small army of unrelated projects, novels and what have you. if all that work went into Perma, it'd be well past the 200K mark in draft, but wouldn't quite be any further along in actually seeing the light of day.
I can't promise that chapters past this point will automatically get faster in terms of weeks, but I'm going to do my best to keep wait times below the extent that they've currently gotten to.
But I'm not just working on stuff you guys won't see in connection to this name or will if you're the same kind of weird as me. In regards to CTS, I've got a few different Fic ideas that will see the light of day in due time. I'd start teasing, but a good number of the more tantalizing prospects are linked into a later part of Permafrost's story. I've also got a few more non CTS fics mulling about, a handful of them lewd, a few not, and one of which looks like it could have the same scope as Permafrost.
but still, I thank you all for your patience, which should be rewarded somewhat shortly.
TL;DR: editing chapter 2, more horse to come.
I need to read chapter one, then I will be eager to see what is next.
