What should I do? · 5:33am Nov 15th, 2017
If you had seen the few chapters for A wizard's tale then you should know that I'm currently attempting to turn it into complete standalone novel.... I am obsessed with it. I became so obsessed with it I spent nearly all my time working on it, every waking hour going over it again and again and again. I had spent most of this year working solely on it outside of helping Mrkillwolf666 with his ideas when I find the time and I think soon it would be ready to be looked at by an publisher or self-publish on amazon perhaps another few months of fixes... Sadly this obsessed had badly effected all of my other remaining fics... there are times where I think of quitting.. both the site and ponies...
I don't know what to do anymore.. overtime I realized that many of my fics would never be finished, I had promised to finish Lonesome yet... sigh there are other writers right there, right now just waiting for me to give up so they can take it and see it done their way.. should I give up? should I even continue writing? should I put anther fic for adoption?
oh, who am I kidding, what the point in doing this anymore?
I been taking things hard, barley ever have good comments (that is if they ever do comment..) only people repeating the same shit all the time.... grammar, bad writer; we want the old guy back; I'm not even reading this so here have a down vote that would never explained; a story that doesn't last a day before being deleted.... don't ask..
(For Lonesome readers)
I think Isaiah beating up Twi is perhaps the only chapter in months that got commented on...
(Wizard's tale readers)
I can put out chapters numbering in the thousands and none of ya'll would comment on it... or at least show me that you're even reading it.
nothing for everfree, Chaotic marks, WiW
Oh dear... I'm not cut out for this...
Just... Yes, I'm tracking both Lonesome and A Wizard's Tale. No, I haven't read the most recent chapters. Yes, I know it's been a while since they were released. No, that doesn't mean I've dropped them, I just haven't gotten around to them yet.
And considering that my library tab currently shows 6893 unread chapters, you're certainly not the only author whose work I need to catch up on.
4726066 I guess that I should glad that least know one person reads them... sorry about this, usually not so down..

No need to apologize. Just remember, even though I like your stories... 6893 unread chapters. I still have stories backlogged from when I first joined Fimfiction two years ago, so you shouldn't take it personally if people don't read every chapter as soon as it comes out.
Honestly, I used to hold off on reading any stories until they were marked complete, just so I could get the whole experience in one go, and not be disappointed if they got canceled instead.
It's also why I didn't start reading Lonesome when I first found it, and instead waited until it was picked up again. By you.
I apologize for not keeping up to date, but life gets in the way sometimes and I still have a lot of catch-up to do on many stories in my library.
However, I must confess that even in my most beloved stories, I don't comment a lot. I usually kind of lurk around and enjoy the story, but have not too many meaningful thoughts. Or at least when I do, I generally don't voice them because a: I don't want to come off as an ass, b: believe it would take so long that it is not worth it (I tend to take a very long time writing comments and such for fear of reason a), or c: it has probably already been said. Most of the time I just notice grammar mistakes or sentences that sound weird, but again, I don't want to come off as someone trying to backseat-storytell, or whatever the phrase is.

Damn I'm also sorry for not keeping up to date my advice is to take a vacation or pot I wouldn't usually suggest pot but your blog here sounds like it's on the verge of becoming a suicide letter so please just try to relax for a while.
4726138 I'll try
4726124 it's okay but sometimes you just need to see that people enjoying stories
4726081 same here haven't done much reading lately

if it's any consolation the
part of your description really makes sense now.
Man you don't have to beat yourself up to hard, your work on A Wizards Tale is Awesome, view the bad comments not as something to tear you down, but as constructive criticism, something to help you refine your writing skills, something that's not bad at all. It's like the saying goes "Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words well never hurt me".
P.S. I eagerly await you next chapter on A Wizards Tale.
Let the darkness hide you from foes, and the moon guide you.
S.C.S singing off.
4726447 the next chapter is coming soon, sitting at 7,577 words out of the 15,000 I wanted
might put out an sneak peak
