Harmony Theory chapter 37 update · 6:24pm Oct 14th, 2017
Hello, everyone. The next chapter to Harmony Theory is up. Much thanks to Coandco and Razalon for their pre-reading efforts. Much thanks to everyone for their patience.
I know this chapter took a heck of a long time to come out. By way of explanation for the delay, I'm going through what is perhaps the worst year of my life right now. I've been unemployed and the job market has not been kind, my girlfriend moved far away leaving me with rent on an apartment and a lot of stuff I can't easily get rid of, and most recently my attempt to rent out a spare room to offset costs has saddled me with a pair of rather frustrating individuals (perhaps I shall detail their exploits in a forthcoming blog post). The net result of these goings-on has been a lot of depression and fear. Not things I am good at writing through. I'm trying, though, and I will continue to work on writing regardless of what happens next.
For those of you still reading, thank you for sticking with me. I can't tell you when the next chapter is coming out, but it is being worked on.

I'm completely thrilled to see the story update and it has literally put a smile on my face. However, if writing is draining you, please put yourself first.
Real life sucks.
It is understandable that it takes longer to write what with things like that in life.
I am very excited to see this new chapter though and even looking more into the next chapter since it may feature more Pinkie Pie (sadly not with Dash but I will take more with Pinkie). I really liked that we got a taste of Pinkie freaking others out with her powers.
I was think in you left the fandom and didn't plan on finishing this, but this is way worse. Getting shat on is just the norm these days, isn't it?
Glad to hear from you once again! It's sad to hear that it's been a rough year for you. I know you can persevere, I hope things will get better with the coming year ahead of us.

Aside from the lack of a job thing I know what you're going through.
Seriously, you just described my life in the 6 months before I found ponies... Only add about $1.5k in "repairs" to the apartment from the roommates I found before I moved out, about $3k in credit card debt and no outlet, savings or income above 1.5k a month. I had a job to offset that and give me a vague sense of purpose but I know how how hopeless everything can feel and how hard it can be to come home to a house filled with people you don't care about when you've grown used to living with someone important in your life.

Keep fighting the good fight, most accomplished author, you! You can overcome these things. Remember your fixed point when you are depressed and down. Best of luck to you on finding solutions to your problems. I do not think I can help you or I would offer my assistance (you don't live in Austin, do you?). I just want you to know how much I appreciate your writing. Thank you for the stories you tell.

Sorry to hear things have been so rough dude. I've got two ears if you ever need them.

Preach it, Sharaloth! I'm a college graduate, electronics/IT/RF/audio-video tech with certificates and licenses on my walls, but there aren't any jobs. Companies weep crocodile tears and say, "We can't find any qualified candidates!" while they're laying off employees.
...So now I fix computers for free at a rescue mission for homeless people who can't find work.
Hang in there. They say the economy is starting to suck less this year.
