It has been a while since I released something here, but that doesn't mean I stopped writing.
Years ago, long before I published any story here, I had great plans to create my own Intellectual Property, something I could both love and make profit of, my own multiverse so to speak.
In fact some of the characters featured in my fanfics are actually the result of my unfinished projects. Characters such as Riv and The Necromancer have their own stories, far away from the crossovers in which they are a part of (Of course that makes those crossovers non canon for them), there are also other characters with their own stories not tied to my fanfics.
And now I am moving beyond just fanfics into the realm of actual literary work. Not that I have abandoned these fanfics, in fact, as I pointed, the adventures of Midnight Edge are far from over, and if I ever get a glimpse of his journeys again, I will certainly write it too. But right now I am focusing on writing short stories monthly to earn some reputation in literary circles and maybe even make a living out of it.
So far I have released two, From March and April, there is an upcoming one for May, but first I need my volunteer proofreader and editor to add the finishing touches.
If you like my writing style and are curious about what else I can do beyond writing about ponies in unusual love relationships, you can follow me on my personal Medium Blog
As always I do this not just for the sake of profit, but out of love for my stories. Maybe someday I will release a novel, which I have been planning for years and is tied to the short stories. That is of course if fate is generous with me.
Again, I must insist, I am by no means abandoning my fanfics, I am just working on my own intellectual property, and of course trying to make a living from the art I am fairly good at and I love, writing.
To all those following my work, thank you for following me so far, to be honest I probably would have never released my short stories without you. It is because of you that I gathered the courage to write the sequel to my fanfic, and because of that, I decided to write my own stories. This is just the beginning, but it is thanks to you that I completed the first chapter of my literary career.
