No, not a literal personal trainer, though I am rather doughy... Okay, in addition to an actual personal trainer, I find myself in need of someone that can help push me to write. Here's the thing, I have no real barriers to getting words down. I have plenty of inspiration and, sometimes, free time with which to write. But I just don't have the motivation. My drive to write is often subverted by other distracting things. Pointless things, but things I just don't seem to have the willpower to say no to. Hence, I need a motivator. A personal trainer.
Would anyone interested in my stories be willing to help push me a couple of hours a couple of nights a week together on gdocs? I'm looking for anything between a listless cheerleader and a full-blown co-writer. Currently my attention is divided between HeartBeat and BFF (nothing yet published). Any takers?
I'll happily sign up. But I work late some nights so I'm not sure how available I'll be but I can carve some time out.
4310093 Awesome. I'm typically free in the evenings, provided I don't get stuck with the late shift. I definitely have every Saturday and Sunday free from seven to nine EST. Most other evenings it may be seven-thirty to nine. Did you have a story in particular that you liked? Also, I'm more than happy to reciprocate, should you need aid on your works.

Maybe an hour at most at a time, and a few nights a week, sure. I'd probably be a semi pre-reader and give my opinions and/or suggestions. If I can motivate myself to write 20,000+ word chapters, I'm sure I can lend some words of decent encouragement.
As for stories, as long as it isn't romance I'm good.

Hope this worked out for you. Me and Crowscrow kind of work as eachother's motivators, poking at each other about how much progress we have done, asking eachother to edit and writing up scenes or ideas that would fit well in the story. Admittedly sometimes we just just say 'meh, not in the mood', but we chat about a lot of mlp and random things too. Writing is much easier with a partner you meet up with a few times a week.
