Firstly, please please please make this stupid FATE spawn more frequently or just replace the quest that requires it entirely. It'd be fine if the FATE popped up as frequently as the Kobold FATEs but it does not. I've been able to run some of the Kobold FATEs several times in the same amount of time it takes "What a Boar" to spawn once.
Secondly, it would also be very nice if you got the quest reward for all ranks. I was a little late getting my level sync up and with five+ (unsociable) people there and I could only manage enough damage to earn a bronze medal before the others melted him. Sure making a group would've helped/prevented the problem but, this type of quest doesn't encourage that type of play at all. People have a routine when running dailies and having to wait for a random spawn breaks up that routine and in turn makes them impatient. Why would they waste time to group up when they've already wasted so much waiting for the spawn in the first place Buy FFXIV Gil?

An interesting system for fixing these issues could be, anybody actively participating in a fate automatically gets added to a fate alliance. Attacking fate targets, building enmity on targets and healing members of the fate alliance would be considered active participation so long as you are in the appropriate level range or level-synced into that range. This would a nice QoL addition and would be especially beneficial to the larger fates (Odin, Behemoth, etc.). I know I'm saying this like implementing such an system is an easy matter and I know it probably isn't. Anywho just a small rant. Good luck getting your FATE rewards folks

Huge topic of beast tribe stuff a few posts before.
Basically, they know this is an issue but apparently What a Boar and Quenching the Flame are attached to other FATEs somehow and the timers are screwed up because of that.
The problem is is that they addressed issues with the FATE spawn timers in a previous patch but didn't do anything for the Quenching the Flame/What a Boar. Really disappointing ><
It's Quenching the Flame I had the most trouble with. The only way around it I found was to whenever I think of it just to TP to the area and see if the FATE is up. If it is I run to it whether I'm doing dailies at that that or not FF14GilHub.
I dislike What a Boar FATE as a beast quest goal. Most times, when I do get it I'll get all three quests and do the first two. If What a Boar has not spawned while I'm doing those two, I abandon the mission. I end up abandoning at around a 90% rate.
