And now that I got your attention with that little expletive . . .
Poniverse is the omni-media supercommunity of the brony fandom. I know, it's a little presumptuous to say it covers all media, and that it's the supercommunity, and it kind of is. But have you ever heard of Pony.fm? MLP Forums? PonyvilleLive? Equestria.tv? PoniArcade? Well, Poniverse is all of those. Poniverse encompasses music, forums, radio, art, roleplay, moving pictures, coding, gaming . . . pretty much the only thing that it hasn't got covered is writing.
Go ahead and join the official Poniverse group to get a lowdown of how writing works over there and learn why joining the herd is awesome; that does a better job of explaining than I could do in a blog post. Anyhow, I'm not evangelizing about Poniverse just because I'm part of it: Poniverse is actually hosting a writing contest that I wll play a part in ajudicating. Write about one of Poniverse's mascots, and you might canonize your writing (as far as Poniverse is concerned) and win some free art at the same time. And there's not just one prize--there's seven!
And if all that means nothing to you and you don't want to hear me preaching, I'm also releasing a new story soon, the first of many in way too long. Maybe that will mollify you? Maybe?
