I have 3 stories online now.
Truth in Song: My first posted story. I worked on the outline for 'Truth' over long commutes, where I occasionally listened to the songs from Equestria Girls 1&2. It was a an idea piece at first; I thought it would be cool for the girls from both sides of the portal mirror to play and sign music together. It took me a while to find the drama in the story. Once I found the drama, the rest of the story writing went much faster.
Red Carpet: Another story inspired by listening to song from Equestria Girls 1. I wondered what would have to happen for 'This is our Big Night' to be played for the ponies in Equestria instead of for the Equestria Girls. I also wanted to experiment with having a lot of different speakers and sources of information to tell the story. I am pleased with the results and have considered trying to do a dramatic reading of it and posting it to YouTube. I initially left Sunset Shimmer off the character tags, but decided to add her in and post the story to a Sunset Shimmer group. It will be interesting to see if that impacts viewership.
Magical: This was entitled 'Beautiful' on my GDrive folder for the longest time. But after some last minute changes in the story structure, I went with 'Magiclal'. In a few days it has more thumbs up than 'Truth' or 'Carpet'. I'm not sure if that is because of story quality, holiday schedules, subject matter, or what. Maybe it has more likes because it has Derpy in the character list! 
I have a fourth story coming soon, The Princess Move. It is my first fic set in the Equestria Girls universe.
Until I wrote this blog item I hadn't realized how many EQG inspired story I was posting. 'Princess' will use up the EQG inspired stories that I have in progress. Nearly every other partially done story on my GDrive is set in the pony universe. I'm not sure what lead me to post most all of my EQG inspired stories up front? Maybe they were just closer to being finished.
I'm getting into the whole writing thing. We'll see where it goes. Thanks to everyone for reading, favoriting, commenting, and for adding the stories to your library.
