i mean seriously
ever time i publish this story there is some over inflated pain in the backside who sees it necessary to cause a little blog war in a story section about nothing important.
guys, im not a bad person. i want to enjoy writing and making art but I have trouble coping. constructive bad comments, at least they are helpful.
i now have to hire some PR dude cause my brain cant think of every problem that is going to come?
ack. so disgusting.
How do YOU deal with trolls? can i block them or something?
Personally, I'm beginning to think my own story just exhausted any trolls. I think maybe a few particular individuals just ignore me because they either think I'm not worth it or that any interaction I have with them will do them more harm than good, which suits me fine. I haven't found any in quite a while.

I really don't deal with trolls..whether they be in comments, chats, or under bridges, I ignore them n delete. Although here I don't do that since I just edit stories.
I really hope this doesn't mean you won't update.. Its hard to find good stories to my interest. All I do is read.
3646233 Sometimes I have fun with them if I feel like it. More assholes show up on youtube than here. If they're on my story, I delete their comments or adjust the chapters so their comments don't show up. You can just delete the chapter or unpublished, then make a new chapter and publish it. Wipes it all clean.

3646307 I honestly don't care if I have deleted comments or not. If people are going to judge a story without reading it, I don't need their opinion anyway. But if I have a bunch of deleted comments, it does tend to look cluttersome so sometimes I just delete and repost the chapter.

First off, let me just say that I am a big fan of your story Libera Me and was sad to see it taken down when you dropped your account; glad to have you back.
Now, to answer your question. First of all, you have to accept two fundamental truths of the internet: 1) Assholes are going to be Assholes. 2) Assholes are everywhere! Whether it be Youtube, Facebook, or Fimfiction. These people get their joy at poking fun at others because they can get away with it without any consequences (unless they piss off a super hacker or something). The only useful advice I can give you is to delete the comments (the asshole ones at any rate) like Barrobroadcaster said. Though, I must remind you to be careful that you don't delete ones with "useful" criticism. I know that having bad comments and down votes can make your stories look bad. But people (like me) who have been on this site for quite a while know better than to blindly trust "everything" we read in the comments (at least without glancing at the work itself). All-in-all, try to keep in mind the positive reasons for writing your stories. There are people out there who like reading and re-reading them, as well as inspire them to write and share their own works. I hope this helps you out.
