Group Spotlight #2 · 1:42am Feb 27th, 2015
Hello internet,
This is the second entry in the "Group Spotlight" segment. I didn't get much response last time, but I had fun writing it, so here I am again. If you care about this at all, post a comment; it will definitely give me some well-needed encouragement. If I see that you like it, I will do it at a much more frequent rate. Also, post some groups you are a part of or find interesting; if I like them, I'll post them.
Without further ado, here is the spotlight:
Block Breakers
Created by PiercingSight
Writer's block. It happens to the best of us and is the bane of creativity if it's not dealt with. Thankfully, Block Breakers is a group. According to the home page, this group exists to
"help you to get your creative juices pumping, and to find ideas, skin them, leave their coats in the sun to dry, and eventually make 16th century style boots out of them that give you +6 kicking, allowing you to vanquish that writer's block with a swift tap in the bottom side."
The folks that contribute are super helpful and have a great sense of humor. Whenever I continue my Work In Progress stories and get block (when, not if), Block Breakers will be the first place I go for help. At the time of posting, this group has 222 members (including myself) and 41 stories. That's plenty of ponies that help each other to conquer the monster that block is.
If you ever suffer from writer's block and need some brainstorming buddies, pop into this group; they'd love to help!
Remember, if you want more or have suggestions, post them. I'll be happy to oblige.
