    Upped to Mature

The patron requested it, so Blue Wedding Belles is now rated Mature, and will proceed under that banner. Figured I should post an alert about that.

Ah, pure love.

How to handle it tactfully? I come from a less than pure background. There's always that little urge to get 'down to business' when dealing with such subjects, but that can lead to things going way too fast in addition to blowing your rating out of the water. I've seen one guy do a side story for such raunchy distractions, making sure to put nothing in them central to the plot of the main story.

What do you think about dealing with romance? Keep it platonic? Seperate story? Some other awesome trick? I'd love to hear from you all about it.

If the story is more than an excuse to write sex, then the nature of the couple and their feelings towards one another should determine how quickly the romance escalates. (Otherwise, porn logic applies: everything will lead to intercourse at some point.)

As for how to handle the details, that's generally left to the author's discretion. Some only imply it, some use the side story method so that the main story maintains a sub-Mature rating, and some just let it hang, if you will. I'm generally comfortable with any method that doesn't feel unnatural to the narrative.

2721264 It would not be natural for Spike to suddenly decide Soft Mane has a candy center he has to get at without significant build up, but the other way around could, likely with a lot of awkwardness out of Spike in the process and a high potential for hilarity.

Long Road thinks Twilight is enchanting almost beyond measure, while Dawn Event is married to the gods and gives no hoots about his companions, especially their love lives.

Twilight remains adorkably ignorant of most feelings, and will remain so unless it is tossed into plain view, which is possible shortly.

Phew! Oh, Pinkie, She's not got the hots for or from anypony, save the love of sharing smiles.

Just in case somepony thinks I don't consider these things.

In a true Romance, it's traditional to spell it out in luscious detail.

In your normal adventure story, it's generally a 'fade to black' deal, if it happens. I think this fits the tone of your story more.

(Twilight and Dawn Event hate each other far too much not to be lovers! It's their destiny!)
