A more definitive timeline, a sequel, and Equestria Daily · 6:12am Aug 30th, 2014
Hey guys, just a little heads up. I went back and did some editing of Unwell. When I started writing it, I didn’t really have a clear idea of when I wanted it to take place, so I just decided to make it an AU story. I also was still not sold on the idea of Twilight becoming a princess, so I put down that it just didn’t fit with my story. I’ve done some thinking now, and I have gotten some great ideas, both from you guys and from my own brainwaves. As a result, I’m setting it around the end of season 2, but before “a Canterlot Wedding.” To that end, I’ve gone through and taken out some references to episodes that take place after that, as well as remove the AU tag. The story will diverge from the show, but it won’t be for another story or two.
And yes, you can take that as a confirmation that Unwell will have a sequel. We are getting to the end of the story I had in mind when I first set out, but I’ve thought of more adventures that I want Twilight and Rainbow to go on in this continuity. I’d say that then next chapters should come quicker, but every time I say that, something goes wrong, so I’m just going to keep writing at my own pace.
Finally, I’ve decided to make another pass at the Royal Guard group and Equestria Daily. I’ve tried my best to find and eliminate any errors, so fingers crossed.

just remove the idea of her becoming a princess and more her transcending into a greater state of power that has kinda a title attached to it.
what i mean is that if you view it more as twilight ascending into the next stage of her life, as it was portrayed, and less her becfoming a princess, which is a title of duty in equestria, then it makes a lot more sense what they were doing.
and her being more altogether seems more development to her character, such as rainbow dash is less impulsive and fluttershy more likely to make her voice heard.
also she is sitll prone to neurosis if you haven't noticed. literally ascending into the sky during a freak out comes ot mind, not to mention her basically trying to teach rainbow dash..........
