Fact 1: I was originally going to make this story a tongue and cheek parity of No Nose Knows, but have it be a (hopefully) decent romance comedy.
Fact 2: Stinky was originally going to be written as a somewhat intelligent creature(as evidence by the first chapter), before i decided to make him really stupid.
Fact 3: Princess Luna and Master Hand(from super smash bros) go way back, pre unification era in this universe.
Fact 4: None of the chapters are planned. This is literally just an excuse to improvise jokes/situations/fluff while having a changeling as the main focus.
Fact 5: Stinky is roughly around twenty five years old in changeling years. or about 10 pony years. changelings just mature quicker, but live just as long as ponies do.
Fact 6: Chrysalis likes pineapple pizza, but is allergic to plain, cheese pizza. This will be important whenever I write the ‘great battle’ that I have planned for the finale should I ever write it out.
Fact 7: despite being younger, Skitter usually
has to act like Stinky’s older sister because Stinky is very Stinkt(stupid).
Fact 8: Stinky is actually fully trained in being able to kill ponies. He just forgot that he’s able to, and is surprised when he accidentally hurts somebody(or straight up murders the king during his very epic 2 chapter long arc).
Fact 9: this is the second story i’ve written, where I inserted ‘the nugget’ to talk to a character for either a brief period of time, or for a whole chapter.
Fact 10: Stinky’s full name is:
Stink Beatle, Hive of Florial, Son of Florial the First. He is technically a Prince(and royalty by blood). Stinky’s IQ is ‘no’.
Bonus fact:
Bob, Stinky’s Cousin, is actually biologically related to Stinky. Even though they’re technically not from the same Hive(yes, Chrysalis kidnapped the pair. don’t ask how only Stinky is an idiot despite this).
