It's been too damn long since I've worked on Cooling Embers, and I want to come back with some real oomf. To make sure that happens, and to give this story the love it needs, I'm looking for beta readers and an artist.
For readers:
1. Please be available. I can't be waiting around a week or more to receive feedback.
2. Be knowledgeable, be experienced, and be interested. If you're a fellow writer yourself, even better. A writer with long-term story experience, the best.
For the artist:
1. I need someone who can specifically design a proper book/novel cover. Graphic design and illustration skills are both valued, but the former holds a bit more precedent.
2. Don't worry, I fully intend on paying you for your services. However, mind that I have an upper limit on what price I'm willing to pay. It's not a particularly complex cover I'm commissioning here.

Lastly, if you're just a fan of my work and/or Cooling Embers and want to help me out, spread the word to any artsy and wordsy friends you might have. This project's been on the ground for far too long, and I mean to kick it back in gear.
