November Blog: Back In The Saddle, So To Speak · 7:16pm Nov 10th, 2023
I'm starting to feel a lot better. Not perfect, but better.
We're still isolating (thank you local grocery store for having a delivery option) to be on the safe side, but we're all past the worst of it symptom-wise. I'll have to see what the guidelines are regarding time between having covid and getting a booster shot, because if this situation has taught me anything, it's that keeping on top of my vaccinations is very necessary. Maybe I can get my flu shot at the same time.
Anyway, my Ko-Fi is now tracking November expenses, and I'm back to full steam ahead on my writing. The horror story I teased might be happening, too, but there's other things I need to complete first. (Hopefully it's at least out before next Halloween.) For now, I'm just glad things are settling back into something of a "normal."
...And saying that going into the holiday season is probably jinxing myself, isn't it?

I’ve heard that getting multiple vaccinations at the same time increases the odds of side effects. I understand that it varies from vaccine to vaccine for how long it takes your immune system to process it and return to normal. But the rule of thumb I was told is that two weeks between them is usually fine.
I’ve also heard that if you’re in your 20–30 physical prime a single week is just as good.
