Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates. After my girlfriend's visit concluded, I began preparing for a trip I've been planning since this summer almost immediately, and today's the day I leave for it. I usually make an effort to type out my blogs a day before submitting them, but I'm doing this one off the cuff and I'm on a time limit, so I'll keep this brief.
Progress on stories, much like they have been for the past six months, is slow but sure. The new CA chapter is almost ready to be drafted, and Closer is almost ready for its send-off as well. Unfortunately, due to this trip, it might be a little while before I get around to submitting the former to be edited, but I'm hoping that Closer will actually wrap up before the month is over, but I promise Nothing.
I don't want to get too into my personal life here, but this trip I'm going on is going to be a very generative experience for me. By that, I mean I know it's going to give me a ton of inspiration. The last time I did something like this was a couple years ago, and that gave me the inspiration to pump out an entire album (by the way that's my other username I was supposed to keep hidden when I started doing this lol) in less than a year. There are ideas in my head that need the right emotional link before I can really make them shine, and I have a strong feeling this trip will give me just that.
This trip will last from today until the end of the month (like the title implies lol) so you shouldn't expect to hear much from me until November. Maybe I might do a blog for CA's 1 year anniversary (I can't believe that's already coming up) but like always, no promises.
Lastly, work has begun on something I'm calling "Project CB". This is actually not a new project—it's something I've talked about a few times, but only recently has it found a name that I like. In due time, you'll come to know what it stands for. The combo of letters is meant to signify it's relation to one of my other stories. That's probably a dead giveaway as to what it is LOL
Anyway, I have to be out the door in an hour, and I still have a few things left to do. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you soon
