Concerning "An Heir's Frailty's" Production · 7:58am Feb 3rd, 2023
...So, as of yesterday upon writing this...my Discord account got hacked into, and I had to make a new one. Why this is bad is because the person who requested/am collaborating with on "An Heir's Frailty" was my one way to keep in touch and discuss future chapter ideas. Though he reached out to me here on FIMfiction first, he keeps making new accounts when he forgets the passwords he uses, so I can't add him back to my newer account.
What happened may sound like a stupid decision, but I know better than to mess around with random things on the internet that could potential harm my devices or cause some form of identity theft and steal my information, such as bank accounts and the like. A friend I had contacted me, asking if I wanted to help an indie developer (who just so happened to be the hacker who changed my old account's password AND stole my account), and being curious, I said yes. Know that this friend wasn't the actual hacker, because the same thing happened to him, only he was gullible enough to believe this "game developer", and sent me a link with the app so I could give my insight. I figured it was run on an rpgmaker software with the way the icon looked, but I should have realized something was off when, usually, there would sometimes be other files included for backdrops, music, sprites, etc., though most apps would have them stored within their application. I clicked on it, an error message popped up, not reading thoroughly what had happened, but I noticed something involving Discord on each of them. Next thing I knew, my Discord window kicked me out to the login, I couldn't log back in, and I looked on my email saying my password was changed, but without my consent. I was furious, contacted the one who dragged me into this mess, and scolded him for not only getting his own account hacked, but ended up getting mine and possibly others I had on my friends list hacked as well, because another friend contacted me saying he lost his discord account, and the guy who hacked him ransomed his account for $100 to get it back.
This wasn't the first time the friend who caused a chain-hack got suckered into something like this on discord. He sent me a message one day several months back, asking if he'd like me to join this random discord group he was on. I asked what it was, he explained what it was all about, and though I was reluctant, I agreed and tried getting in. I immediately disbanded myself from it when it was being weird, and then suddenly, he messaged me back about something I sent that was "vulgar", specifically to him on my friends list, but I did absolutely nothing and said nothing, and then I was immediately blocked from him. I contacted him on FIM to ask what the heck was going on, and he said that he didn't do it, which made me facepalm because he somehow managed to get someone to hack his account for a brief moment and randomly block me. We fixed it, but that should have been a warning to him not to do something like that again, only this time, he's made it worse for himself, me, and my other friends I've made from my old account.
I'm still fuming, and I thought I wasn't going to be getting any sleep after I had worked an overnight shift the previous night, and though I didn't have work on the night I'm writing this, I couldn't even think about sleeping after losing my account. I'm always careful when browsing the internet, but after that, I'm not going to forgive this person for being so careless after I trusted him, and to the jerk who thinks it's a good get-rich-quick scheme by stealing other peoples accounts, no matter what it may be about, and hold it hostage for money to get it back, guaranteed or not. I could have had my whole system hacked and had other personal information just taken from me after that, and he should have known better. I did contact Discord support to try to resolve this, but if I can't get my old account back, then "An Heir's Frailty" may either be on hiatus until I can figure out a way to contact my requester/collab partner again, or, at worse, cancel the story altogether. I'm sorry to anyone who may be disappointed that this story would have to end sooner than expected, even though I've been having writer's block these last few months because of life outside my computer. And the worst part was that I was just getting back into writing one of my other stories, but now I'm too angry to even focus on that after what just transpired. I'm so sorry again to everyone who was waiting in anticipation for the next chapter of this story, and to the one who requested this story to be made.

It's saddening to read all that has happened to you and your friends. I hope your future prospects are better, ponies or not!
Can it and do your own thing. Commissioner is behaving like a tool.
Those who actually care about you and the quality of your work won't try to force you to rush and put things out faster than you're comfortable with. That will just make quality decline. Take as long as you need.
Well if you want help I can try to help you

Apart from any jokes, I hope you work something out, for your sake more than any of ours.
