Funeral is done

OK everyone, we made it back home from the funeral and everything's done.

OK everyone, we made it back home from the funeral and everything's done.
For those of you wondering, yes, I am okay.

But as the saying goes, when it rains it pours.
My mother passed out right before we left.
She was fine, at least initially.
But when we got back to my hometown and into the hotel, her blood pressure was consistently low so took her to the local ER.
They got the BP under control, just dehydration.
The real problem came in the form of her right ankle getting broken.
Apparently, when she passed out, her feet were at an weird angle when it happened.

So, unfortunately, she could not attend the funeral and had to stay there for the duration.
Now she's in an orthopedic boot to stabilize it as it heals for the next 6-8 weeks.

This has been quite the B-day week for me.
