I suppose if it grabs your interest and makes Mrs.Faust less furious, then it is all cool with me.
However, this also bugs me because:
Well, personally, I think that it is a bit unfair that whenever the show's creator says something about the show, their words will be "canon"(especially since this is on a very chaotic social media, where extreme people dwell), because it doesn't cost anything for them to say a few words and define our world while we struggle to make the best content just to be accepted. I believe that the world of Equestria is for all of us to shape and complete(under a few principles to make sure that it is recognizable), not just a few staff members.
(but if calling it canon get the folks' creativity going with new canon material, then I can also roll with it, because I just want to have some fun.)
