I've been writing something in my free time, inspired by the setting of World of Darkness and games like Kingdom Come Deliverance. The setting I've made, Grimwall, is a version of Equestria where the country is a HRE styled empire, where Celestia rules from Canterlot, and the other nobles each rule the other kingdoms inside the empire. Taking the inspirations from darker and grittier settings, it'll be a more serious story following the story of a young mare named Marionette, who has her live forever changed when it's exposed to the supernatural.
I won't spoil anything else, but I do have a unique idea I want to try. I want to have people vote on the character's choices at the end of chapters when a big decision is left up to her. I've seen a couple of stories try it out in the past with some doing quite well.
Regardless, it's so much fun to be writing again! Feedback would be greatly appreciated!
