57285 You might think that, and I'm flattered that you do; but the reality is that my own skill set is much more finely tuned for writing analytical essays about literature than it is for creating literature of my own (see my "comment" on the third page of comments on Dictated, Not Read, for a good example). It's one thing to think of a better way to describe a scene to make it more compelling, or to re-write a passage that has already been written to make it more effective; it's another entirely to build it all from scratch based on an idea and a broader set of circumstances.

It's why I don't have any stories of my own, save for a few that I've written recently for my English Composition writing assignments; even then, they are based more upon my actual experiences—not necessarily the events themselves, but what's going through my head at the time—than on outright fabrication. My typical writing consists almost entirely of the academic papers I do for school; it's one of the reasons I tend to be so seemingly hyper-analytical. Ironically, it turns out very few engineering students can construct a decent paper without outside help from the school writing lab, despite it pretty much boiling down to designing and assembling sentences and paragraphs that adhere to the strict grammar and style standards of English technical writing. I feel this is not all that different from designing and assembling some sort of widget to meet strict engineering codes and manufacturing tolerances.

Pretty much the only time I write for fun is…well, like this, when I'm sharing my thoughts on things and conversing with others on the internet.

Of all the people who I believe can write a story...I find you the most qualified to do so.
Maybe (that is if you choose to accept) I can give you a story. A plot...A character list...And maybe an ending.

Or if I'm just miss led by the fact you have no stories here you ACTUALLY have a story being prepared or even on some other site. Then I guess this comment will mean nothing.

Though if you choose to accept my offer I will give you another story that I feel I won't ever get too in time for my years at collage. It may be something you might be interested in. and if you don't like it you can give me a genre that you like and I'll make up a story for you. or at least a plot that suits your interests. ;P
