My original intent for it was as a one shot, but as I neared the end, I couldn't put into words the ending I imagined. As a result, I left it open-ended. It was mostly unintentional, but I suppose a part of me wants to keep Cicada's story alive. So to answer your question, yes, there will most likely be multiple chapters involved.
