Idea #1 is an idea I had for a Displaced fic involving a OC character going to a convention and meeting the mysterious Merchant who sells the other displaced the goods that send them to Equestria. The OC's costume for the convention would have been that of Monkey D. Luffy's and the item he would have bought from the Merchant would have been what he thought was either a replica of Luffy's devil fruit or another devil fruit.
