No, "Pillars of the Sun" is the first of the three books that were supposed to make up Zenith... the beginning, the middle, and the end. It was stylistic more than practical. I haven't finished this first one, let alone the other three parts. So, yeah... I hope you can enjoy it for what it is worth.
