Out of the Hospital, Into the Really Cold Fall Season. · 1:33am Oct 27th, 2014
Two days ago, I managed to scramble out of the Prince Edward Island hospital, drag my feet into the cramped confines of the family van, and trudge up the stairs to my bed and sleep for about six hours before getting up in time for dinner.
To back up and explain a little, I had essentially tripped a flag in one of my previous stays in the hospital that suggested I had "brainwave patterns similar to epilepsy."
So what did that mean?

After reading your Hiatus message, I felt the need to drop you a line and wish you the ABSOLUTE best. I hope your able to over come all the challenges you are currently facing. I am happy to know your family is helping you in everyway that they can. With that said, I hope you keep moving forward and NEVER give up!

It was quite the read just from the first chapter, (having the editor polish on it as well didn't hurt at all,) and I quite liked the descriptive writing style and how non-straightforward the dialogue was between Sombra's tricky nature and Luna being accustomed to the verbal pitfalls political figures have to avoid.
All in all, I favourite things because they are good. And Lingering Shadows is beyond the mere rating of good.
