On It's Cold Out and Writing Characters · 6:56am May 17th, 2014
It's Cold Out was as good a story as I could write when I wrote it. The idea wasn't so well thought out - maybe unworkable. But nothing is really unworkable. It was over my head though, to get it to really work. The elements had to fit in. I ignored them. The idea with the next generation was too obvious. Anyone would have thought of it. And it was supposed to be a story about characters, but that was a weak point, too. Maybe the writing was okay, but that's it. And you can make anything good

That is most definitely something I would be happy to take you up on when/if I ever get back into writing. Thanks a bunch!
2027161 True. I should read your stuff more often... But then, you haven't written anything in a while! Anyway, I was just thinking, and I'm sure you have qualified editors lined up, but if you ever need any help with anything, I'd be glad to be of use to you. You're a truly inspiring writer; indeed, I think there was a time when the show just stopped doing it for me, and I looked to your writing to "brony on" as they say...
Hey there, Bali! We need to stop running across each other only once-a-year! In any case, thanks for making room for my story Tangled Up in Blues on your Favorites bookshelf. I'm glad that the music moved you.
Hey, Bali! Looong time, no see! Any who, thanks for finding room for my stories The Railway Ponies: Highball and As a Mother. I'm very glad that you are still finding works of mine to enjoy.
Hey, Bali! Good to hear from you again! Thanks for reading and Faving Shine. You know that I appreciate it!
