I'm going to post reviews here for the Authors Helping Authors group. Please go and check out that group; it is a cool concept. I think it will work better for me than the Equestrian Critics Society, where I was reviewing 4 or 5 stories, some with 100k words, every month. Now I can review what I want at my own pace and feel virtuous. Virtuous enough, at any rate.

My intent was to always keep it at worst R-rated but yesterday I was making breakfast and suddenly I was struck by a title. Little Clop of Horrors. And I wrote the outline in my head. I mean, clop isn't my thing, but I consider erotic fiction to be a legitimate form of literary expression. Here's my problem. The Twilight's Dawn saga relies on the Elements of Harmony being pieces of jewelry, not the fashion-challenged Rainbow Powers. Therefore the series is now AU. My H&K crossover story got featured yesterday, and I was on Cloud Nine, for about 30 minutes. Then it got unfeatured. I've decided I'm going to write a safe, slice of life bit of light comedy. Try to make it like an episode with a moral and everything instead of angsty or random or dirty or whatever else I do to write mature work.

Having spent some time doing reviews for TECS has certainly given me a better feel for the way things are done around here. I'm still going to review there, but I am going back to Twilight's Dawn and incorporating some of the critiques into a rewrite, and I will also do chapter 13, the epilogue for the first story. I expect that the edits plus the additional chapter will push TD over 40K words. I've already updated the prologue and chapters 1 and 2, many thanks to my commenters.
