Three Thousand Years into Earth's future, the Galaxy is a very small playground. Two great factions battle for control, the democratic Republic, based on the ideals, technology, and language of a long-dead insectoid race, and the tyrannical Imperious, split from the Republic thousands of years into the past, forged by the roiling mass of power. During this epic struggle, one of the best Armored Corps teams, sent on a secret and highly important mission, disappear after a run-in with a dimensional Ion storm. How will the Republic cope with their loss? How will Equestria deal with their appearance? How will they manage in this new world?

Based entirely on my own original universe, with references to some games and movies sprinkled throughout.
Teen for violence, and possible gore in later chapters.

[WARNING] This story has been marked for complete remodel and rewrite. It's pretty much being deleted and replaced with something that vaguely resembles the original idea.

Amnesia. It's hard to imagine until you're actually having it. Think about it. Suddenly, you realize that the last year, or more, of your life is gone. Just brief flashes left. Oh, and random fears and a new(ish) physiology. Though the colorful ponies surrounding me do make me question my sanity.
Please let this just be a dream.

Dialogue that the person who is the subject of the reader's POV cannot understand will be in bold font, but will otherwise be unchanged from the standard dialogue format. However, much of the aforementioned dialogue will be glossed over without being stated.

Don't question it.

In the island country of Araluen, many feel that the long earned peace will never leave. Unfortunately, they are proved drastically wrong. An ancient evil revives from the dark Grimsdell Forest, whilst the greatest heroes in the land disappear. How will the kingdom fare without it's long-time saviors?

All rights to John Flanagan and Lauren Faust for their respective, and awesome, works. This merely a fan-based crossover.

Please Note: This is a Half-Life Crossover, so there will be gore.... and language... and bad puns/references (Ever seen the Minds?)... Just a warning.

The timeline from the original Half-Life game is split just before the final teleportation scene. Gordon finds himself trapped in Equestria, a seemingly peaceful dimension inhabited by three separate races of sentient ponies. However, the peace is shattered when elements of both Earth and Xen begin to bleed through the second inter-dimensional rift Gordon had created. (The first being the initial resonance cascade).
