After re-watching Stare Master and Show Stoppers back-to-back, I remember why I disliked the crusaders in the early years. Looking back, I find these two episodes delightful for what they are, and I, of course marvel at how far Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo have come.
A lot of people claim that Applejack has no character development, but this is simply not true. In fact, she has perhaps the most linear character development in the whole series. It stretches across 3 episodes which, in my mind, contitute a trilogy: Applebuck Season, The Last Roundup, and Apple Family Reunion.
Chapter 44 is complete. This marks a record for me. A new chapter in just over a fortnight. This one wrote itself, and hardly needed any editing at all once the first draft was done.
I'm very excited to share it with you. Expect a release on Walpurgisnacht, (April 30th).
Cozy Glow was just plain evil. A lot of people craved a back story, or a shot at redemption for her, but personally, I think she got oodles of character development just in the behavior that we were permitted to witness.
Philosophers of the late middle ages and early modern era sought what we call the macrocosm within the microcosm - a unity between universe and self.
As most of you who follow this blog have probably already observed, I tend to look for ways to relate pony to everyday life. I try to see the best in people.
I just rewatched the Stare Master. In this episode, Twilight straight up gets turned to stone by a cockatrice. Think about that for a minute.
