I'm fond of romance involving Chrysalis. Especially when the pace isn't rushed and the characters grow to one another. She isn't really the best person in canon, arrogant, prideful and vindictive. But that doesn't mean she can't learn to be better, overcome what makes her those things and find a happiness that doesn't involve her children/subjects starving.

You've put Chrysalis on a path of redemption. She's swallowed her pride and asked for help. You've written her, and the princesses, in a way that seems believable and genuine. I'm rooting for her to find the happiness she doesn't know she deserves. And I'm rooting for you to make that happen.
