As the title implies, I went to see Maleficent the other day. My opinion? It was okay. Not great, but not terrible either. Honestly, the movie felt a bit rushed (although, given the time span covered in the movie, and the attendant necessary time skips, that was probably unavoidable. Still, at a short 97, an extra half hour could have helped), there were several characters I would have liked to see get more characterization, and the whole thing was bit, even the "surprise twist".

Don't you just hate it when people are having a tiff and want you to justify their actions for them. And then you imply that maybe everybody is acting like an idiot and there's enough blame to go around. At which point things escalates into screaming and yelling and it ends with you telling them to fuck themselves with a horse and basically killing any chance of making amends.
