Hey all. This was written in 3 hours for the 2016 Everfree Northwest Writeoff competetion. This is an edited version that fixes problems I didn't have time to edit during the contest, but I may publish the original, unedited version as an extra chapter if anyone's interested. Anyway, enjoy :)

[SPOILERS] IF YOU HAVE NOT READ BOOK SIX OF THE WINGS OF FIRE SERIES, BUT INTEND ON READING THEM, DO NOT READ ON. THE SERIES IS WONDERFUL AND EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT, BUT THIS STORY IS LOADED WITH SPOILERS. SO IS THIS DESCRIPTION.

Starflight hadn't expected the first living thing he saw when he could see again to be a pony with wings and a horn. He also never expected to see his dream visitor again. But now, he and his friends find themselves being dragged to a far off land in their dreams, one by one, with a new challenge to face. As they defend Jade Mountain from Queen Scarlet in the waking world, they are met with an even greater danger in their dreams. One that could decide the fate of both worlds.

A/N: I don't have cover art for this story yet, and I'm still debating whether or not to even keep writing it. I enjoyed what I've wrote, and hopefully you'll enjoy reading it. Shortly after Twilight's regeneration, the Doctor and her leave to adventure through time and space once again. This time, however, they're faced with an even greater task: discover the secret of the alicorns. How exactly does a unicorn become a god with immortality? How did Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence become so powerful that they could survive beyond death and become something greater? These questions nag at the Doctor as he and his faithful companion continue their adventures through time and space, saving lives and ending wars before they can begin.

When Twilight faces imminent death, the Doctor reveals to her a secret about herself that she could never have guessed in her wildest dreams.

The final battle between Sora and Xehanort was a failure. Sora is on his last legs and his friends have all been captured. When he refuses to help Xehanort, he is sent into darkness. What he finds on the other side surprises him above all else.

Zack could've sworn that he died. He closed his eyes for a few minutes, then found himself floating into the sky toward what he thought was Angeal's hand, welcoming him into the life stream. But then he woke up to a purple alicorn in his face and fire surrounding him.

EDIT: I'm going through some minor edits right now, so some things won't make sense. For example, characters keep jumping between knowing what a 'human' is and complete confusion at the mention. Please, bear with me for the moment while I work through it.

Applejack has always been Ponyville's most dependable pony, always willing to help when needed. She's an expert with her lasso and has recently joined the Ponyville gun club. But when she's framed for a murder in a bar in Canterlot, will she be able to clear her name in time after escaping from prison? Will her friends believe the element of honesty when she needs them most? Or will a raggedy Doctor and his assistant show up to help?

There isn't really much gore. There are frequent descriptions of blood, and possibly some gory-er scenes later in the story. Cover art is not mine.
