To Pone or Not to Pone · 6:04pm Nov 21st, 2015

Sorry for the radio silence lately. My writing attention has been kinda split between fanfiction and original fiction (not that I've been particularly productive anyway). I've worked on an interesting short story featuring our favorite purple princess recently which may or may not see the light of day. At the moment I'm in the process of outlining an original novel which probably won't go anywhere. But although I've been conflicted regarding whether I should focus on fan or original fiction,

'What is Left' featured on Equestria Daily · 5:29pm Oct 7th, 2015

http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/10/story-what-is-left.html

This is my second story featured on Equestria Daily. It's a nice, albeit small, accomplishment; their pre-readers are pickier than you might think. Thank you all for your love and support during my time as a budding writer. You can safely expect more stories from me. Cheers!

Good News, Everyone! · 9:31am Aug 9th, 2015

The story is pretty much done. 30,000 words. Four drafts, a complete rewrite, and a year of work. I'm looking for talented proofreaders to take a look at it before I give it the green light. If you have a good eye for prose and storytelling, or know someone who does, I could really use the help, even if it's just to take a look at the first chapter. As usual, I'm anxious about the story not being as good as it could be shortly before its completion. I hope you guys will like this one. I put a

Things are Happening · 4:20pm Jul 2nd, 2015

I set a deadline for myself to finish this novalla. I won't say when it is because I can't know for sure if I'm going to succeed in time, and I'd rather not risk disappointing if I can help it. My deadline is a lot sooner than you might expect, which is mildly good for my productivity if not stressful. I still write every day, even if it's just a few hundred words here and there. There are things in my life that make me feel not good at times. I try not to let it affect my writing, but I'm sure

A Grave Betrayal · 9:15am May 4th, 2015

I often feel like if I publish a story that isn't amazing and perfect, I'm somehow betraying you guys. I am aware that I'm setting too high standards for myself, but it's hard to overcome that sense of dread of disappointing you. This is not going to prevent me from releasing new stories as I complete them, however--I can't allow that. I have a feeling not publishing anything at all would disappoint you far more than publishing something imperfect.

This One Scene · 4:50pm Apr 6th, 2015

You'd think writing a scene about two sisters having a chat over tea would be easy. But no, it's driving me insane, because it has to be perfect. I've been struggling with getting this particular scene right for several months. It's the part of my upcoming story where Sweetie Belle and Rarity have their first conversation in over five years. Their relationship was in ruins when they last spoke, and the scene will answer the question

Something To Live For · 1:35pm Jan 17th, 2015

If you find something worth living for, let it be the death of you. I love writing. As hard and painful and frustrating as it can be, I doubt I'll ever stop. I like to think I'd write in the empty dark even if not a single soul read my stories, but it sure does feel nice to have the light of your company, my humble followership. So thank you, all of you, for sticking with me through the silence between stories. Your patience will not be in vain, I promise you--I write every single day, and that
