My fanfiction enjoyment on here involves reading and exhausting stories of the few characters and character combinations that I'm interested in, subscribing to updates if applicable, waiting for new stories and updates for the next few months, and repeating that. Every few months, and generally in growing intervals.

I'm not one for shipping, but realize that it's all that some characters will ever get in the way of stories, and I still enjoy some nice writing. As a self-proclaimed fan of the background-of-the-background ponies, I understand they don't get much more than that beyond NSFW, if anything at all, but I still like these characters and no one else seems to notice them.

Sometimes I see someone using a vector or a few of mine on the covers of stories or as an author's profile picture and I get all giddy and feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I'm no writer myself, so all the more in enjoying other people's stories! I'm more proficient at vector graphics and using a Facebook page in an effort to have social interaction in comparison (not that I'm advertising myself...okay I might be. I'm just more active in places other than here).

Supposing I took writing more seriously, and if I were to start, it'd be for the same reason I undertook vectoring; primarily to give lesser characters (not necessarily the same as fan-favorites) some more content. That said, I wouldn't count on seeing a story from me anytime soon.
