Merry Christmas! · 10:38am Dec 25th, 2015

Hey pony people! I'm naturally going to be crazy busy over the holidays, with fun seasonal stuff as well as (lots of) studying, so I'll be quiet here over the next few weeks. Just wanted to drop in and say a hearty "Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!" to all :pinkiehappy: Hope you all have an awesome time!

Christmas Photoshop skills / avatar hats · 11:38am Dec 2nd, 2015

Because it's coming up to Christmas, we seem to be livening up the site with decorations. Like funny Christmas hats. Naturally, I am on board with this (see my 'brilliantly' Photoshopped avatar :derpytongue2:) Twilight now has a good reason to be grumpy.

It's kinda cool, so jump on the wagon if you feel like spreading a bit of holiday cheer! This blog post has the details and hat links: http://www.fimfiction.net/blog/568869/if-you-would-consider-a-santa-hat-2015-edition

Yatta! (I did it!) · 2:39pm Nov 30th, 2015

I have officially just won NaNoWriMo 2015 :pinkiehappy: 50,116 words of ponyfic in 30 days - a new record for me, by a long way. I'll do a proper blog post after I've enjoyed a gallon of tea and bucket of scones a brief respite to wind down. But yes, very pleased with this (and very exhausted!)

NaNo Week Three Progress · 1:43pm Nov 22nd, 2015

'Day twenty-two on the trail of the elusive November Novel. There aren't many of us left. Many have been drawn away by the haunting siren song of Fallout 4, or else have abandoned the trail as a fool's errand by now. They're probably the smart ones. Those of us that remain don't have much further to go though - we're on the home stretch. One more week and we'll finally reach the end of the road. Wherever that takes us.'

Regular brony spot on our podcast, plus special next week · 2:01pm Nov 20th, 2015

Yo, to those of you who listen already or are interested, my co-host and I have decided to have a regular ten minute 'brony slot' on our Goon Monkeys podcast :pinkiehappy: Very first one's just aired, in which I talk about the 2017 movie, the Christmas pony album and get emotional about a certain S5 episode (three guesses which one xD )

NaNo Week One Progress · 4:22pm Nov 9th, 2015

Excerpt from a war-torn journal...

"Day nine of NaNoWriMo. The words are flowing well and the stories are beginning to take shape, but at the same time, I feel a nervous tension in the air. I had to burn the last of my planning documents to fuel the fire, so I'm travelling without a map - nothing but a pen and paper and this rusty old compass to guide me. I feel like I'm making progress though. Let's just hope no-one asks me what the story's about..."

NaPoWriMo post on Equestria Daily · 11:09am Nov 3rd, 2015

For those who haven't seen it, Equestria Daily are running a National Pony Writing Month event (link). If you're taking part in the event, see the blog post and send them an email with your details. I believe they do a compilation post after the month with links to what everyone's managed

Apparently, they're also giving out free writing advice each week, so get right on that!

Friendship Games / National Novel Writing Month · 11:56am Oct 25th, 2015

Good news, everyone!

Two things: First, I saw Friendship Games at the cinema yesterday, and I've got to say it was much cooler watching it on the big screen than it was seeing it online. Not sure why, but I missed a lot of stuff the first time around. If you get a chance to go along with some friends I'd recommend it!
