So, just watched them (took me nearly a whole hour, crappy internet connection) and wow. Just...wa-HOW!

For some reason I noticed the music a lot more during this episode than normal. I usually only pay attention to the music during the songs but I think that William Anderson (is that right) really outdid himself with the incidental score in this one. The style changed so often, but so fluently, particularly in the moments involving Celestia or Zecora.

The slightly revised and expanded chapter 7 of Comes the Sunset is now up, after having been pulled while I made the additions. Go and check it out.

I'm going to work on a new chapter of my Gundam fusion fic next, before starting on chapter 8 of Comes the Sunset. I probably won't get it up before London comic-con next weekend, but we can hope.

I wasn't feeling very well when I completed and posted chapter 7 of Comes the Sunset, and I've come to see how that shows in the second part of the chapter: the pacing is rushed and the quality goes downhill overall. So I'm going to go back and edit/rewrite that bit once I've finished my current original fiction chapter.

I arrived in Manchester tonight and so far the only thing that's grim about it is the delays on the tram line.

Normally I would consider half past nine rather an uncivilised time to be finishing dinner, but I guess that's what you get for travelling after work.
