I had the next chapter of Grandfather's Coming For A Visit mostly done.

And then my hard drive crashed. I lost most of my word documents, including that one. I also lost some other important files. But I'm mostly mad about the documents. I can re-install programs, word documents are harder to replace.

In the future I'm going to stick to writing hardcopy drafts rather than doing the entire thing on a word processor from the beginning.

So I had originally said that May 10 was going to be the tentative update date for the next chapter of Grandfather's Coming For A Visit. Unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen. While I finished my last exam today, one of the final papers I had to write took a lot more time to finish than I had originally expected, and so I haven't been able to write anything beyond what I had gotten done beforehand.

I'm absolutely amazed at the response that Her Dark Inheritance got, especially for a 1200-word little thing I wrote in about forty-five minutes. While I originally wasn't planning on continuing it, or if I did continue it that it would be pretty far in the future, I've decided that I will be continuing it, quite a bit sooner than I had originally anticipated.
