Well, it took me a month and a half, also more money than I want to think about, but I finally fixed my computer! It only took a new motherboard, CPU, two sets of DDR3, and a new power supply! The last of which only arrived this weekend, so I spent all my waking hours blundering about as I installed drivers, added updates, corrupting all my data, reformatting my hard drive, and re-installing windows 8! Okay, I'm just going to let you guys know that something terrible happened recently: My cat got hit by a car and broke both his rear legs. Now don't get ahead of yourselves here, he's not dead, just in casts and a whole lot of misery at the moment. After taking him over to another city to get some surgery done on his rear legs he now has only several months to heal instead of half a year or so.
