There was no Mom to latch onto and exclaim that he was so excited to be home. He had no Dad to tell his stories of the battles and the other ponies that he had met through the Rangers. The first time I listened to this story, I nearly cried outright. The music, the way the story was read, it all contributed to a tale of love, family, and tragedy. And now, I have the sudden inclination to write a "My Little Applejack" story, but that won't be until I get at least 5-7 chapters into "Bring Her Home".

I haven't seen Applejack or Applebloom get some love from an OC, so I want to write something like it. Maybe something close to the OC befriending Applejack after trekking away from his home and Applebloom taking a liking to him (as a brother/dad kind of thing you sickos...)?
